An easy overnight camp at Pravaham: arrive for dinner, watch the Leonids meteor shower through the night and leave after breakfast.
The Leonids Night Camp is an easy overnight camp at the Pravaham campsite on 17–18 November 2026. You arrive on the afternoon of the 17th, watch the Leonids meteor shower through the night (best after midnight) and leave at about 12 PM the next day. ₹4,250 per person includes tents, dinner and breakfast.
The Leonids peak on the night of 17–18 November, and the show is best after midnight. We camp at the Pravaham campsite with tents, dinner, a campfire and a short sky briefing, then watch for meteors late into the night. In the morning there is sunrise and tea, breakfast and a visit to the water cascades before we leave at noon. Meteor counts depend on cloud cover and moonlight, so a sighting is never guaranteed.
