JINDHAGADA TREK
Trek to the Highest peak of Eastern Ghats
Jindhagada Peak is the highest peak in the Eastern Ghats with an elevation of 1690mts (5545 feet) above mean sea level, it is situated at a distance of 145kms from Visakhapatnam.
Trek length : 12-14kms in 2 days
Trek difficulty : Medium
Batch Size : 15 to 30
ITINERARY

Day 1
6:00 AM - 7:15 AM
Pick-up points: Yendada, Maddilapalem, NAD, Vepagunta
8:00 AM - 8:45 AM
Breakfast at sabbavaram
11:30 AM
Will stop at Paderu for a tea & washroom break
12:15 PM
Journey resumes to Olubidda Village.
01:15 PM
Lunchtime at a water stream with people being surrounded by lush greens and fresh breezes.
02:45 PM
Will start our trek towards the Eco Hikes campsite(3.6 kms).
5:00 PM
Will reach the camp site, keep our luggage there and walk to the sunset point.
(Pat your shoulders and reward yourself with a beautiful sunset).
6:30 PM
Campfire with some fun and frolic as the temperature begins to decline.
8:30 PM
Dinner time ( Chapathi with veg curry)
9:30 PM
We can do Stargazing if there are not clouds.
Day 2
5:00 AM: Time to wake up
05:45 AM
Experience the sunrise from the campsite ( if there are no clouds)
06:45 AM
Eat Breakfast (Maggie).
07:30AM
Begin our journey to the peak point.

Will reach the peak point. Take a moment to breathe and click pictures as you are at the highest point of Eastern Ghats.

Descent from the peak

Explore a natural cave on the way back to the Tribal Village
​
1:30 PM
Will reach the village
Freshen up at a nearby stream as the lunch gets prepared.

Lunch - vegetarian meals prepared by tribals
3:30 PM
Begin our journey back to Vizag.

6.30PM
Tea break one the way
7:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Back to Vizag.
